To support the artistic vision of Guild Wars 3, the contract Senior Outsourcing Character Concept Artist will work remotely to review character concept art from external partners, provide actionable feedback, and prepare files for integration while collaborating closely with both internal and external teams. Key responsibilities Translate design briefs into actionable vendor art briefs with clear visual references and requirements Provide clear, actionable feedback aligned with art direction and character design goals while allowing for vendor creativity Manage multiple projects and communications, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Art, Game Art, Illustration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of professional experience in game development pipelines Experience reviewing concept art and collaborating with external art vendors or internal art teams Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and a strong understanding of art fundamentals Strong concept art background with skills in character, creature, and environment art
