Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Night Shift Located in the regions healthcare facility, this role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to handle variable trauma cases, STEMI, strokes, and other acute conditions, ensuring swift and effective treatment for patients.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse responsible for delivering urgent care services in a Level 4 trauma setting with 14 beds and 2 trauma bays. The role includes triage, patient assessment, and management of variable diagnoses such as traumas, STEMI, strokes, and more.
• Required Qualifications: active MI license, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC Certification, 2 years of ER experience, valid license to submit, and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, STEMI, and stroke centers.
• Additional Information: The ER treats approximately 40-60 patients daily, with RN staffing ratios of 1:3-4 during the day and 2 RN at night after 3 a.m. The facility features 24/7 in-house emergency department services, including RT, phlebotomy, x-ray, and CT. Self-scheduling is permitted with shifts available for rotation, including weekends and holidays. The orientation includes computer-based training and departmental-specific floor orientation.
